An RFQ is a request for quotation. A good wig RFQ gives the supplier enough information to recommend a sample, check availability and calculate the correct order price.
“Please send your best price” is not a complete RFQ. The price can change with cap construction, fiber, length, color, quantity and packaging. Use the template below to make your request clear.
Why a complete RFQ saves time
A supplier must understand exactly what is being quoted. If two suppliers quote different specifications, the prices cannot be compared fairly.
A clear RFQ helps you:
- receive a more accurate quotation;
- find the closest sample;
- compare suppliers using the same specification;
- reduce mistakes in colors, quantities and packaging;
- create a written record for the order.

Questions or inspection requirements:
1. Identify the exact product
Include a product URL, item number or clear reference photo. If the photo is only an inspiration, say which details must match and which can change.
Browse wholesale synthetic wigs, lace wigs and hair extensions to find a starting format.
2. Describe construction before appearance
For wigs, record the cap type, cap size, lace area, lace color, parting and adjustment. For extensions or hair pieces, record the attachment, piece count, base size or weft widths.
Construction affects fit and cost, so it should not be left to a photograph.
3. Record fiber, length, weight and color
Ask for the fiber information and care guidance for the exact product. State how length should be measured and whether you need a target density or finished weight.
List every color with its quantity. “Mixed colors” is not enough for an order plan.
| Style | Length | Color | Quantity |
|---|---|---|---|
| Example item A | Requested length | Color code | Units |
| Example item A | Requested length | Second color | Units |
4. Explain the sample you need
State whether you need an available stock sample, the closest sample or a newly prepared custom sample. Ask what the sample will and will not confirm.
When it arrives, compare it with the written specification. Keep the approved sample as the bulk order reference. See our wig quality checklist.
5. Separate product and packaging requests
List every packaging piece: bag, box, logo sticker, hangtag, care card, label, barcode and shipping carton. Ask the supplier to state separate packaging MOQ or setup needs where relevant.
Send final logo files and exact text only after the product direction is clear.
6. Give a complete delivery destination
Freight cannot be estimated accurately from a country name alone. Send the city, postal code and country, and state whether the address is commercial or residential when relevant.
Ask what the quotation includes and excludes. Import duties and local charges can depend on the destination and shipping terms.
Questions to ask with the quotation
- What specification is included in the price?
- What changes the MOQ?
- Can colors or styles be mixed?
- What sample is available?
- When is lead time confirmed?
- What packaging is included?
- How will bulk products be checked against the approved sample?
- What information is needed before production starts?
Wig RFQ FAQ
Should I send a target price?
A target price and market can help a supplier recommend a suitable construction, but the final quotation still needs a clear specification.
Can one RFQ include several styles?
Yes. Use a table that lists the specification and quantity for every style and color.
Where can I send my RFQ?
Send your specification to Velora Wig. Include the product, quantity, packaging and destination so the team can check sample and quotation options.
